
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that on 19 April 2025 alone, Ukraine’s defence forces eliminated 950 Russian occupiers and destroyed hundreds of units of enemy military equipment and weapons. This sharp blow to Russian positions reflects the sustained and intense combat conditions on the frontlines, where over 107 engagements and more than 4500 shelling attacks were recorded in just 24 hours.
According to the Ukrainian military’s latest estimates, the cumulative Russian losses since the beginning of Russia’s full scale invasion on 24 February 2022 have reached staggering numbers. Personnel losses now stand at around 941,100 soldiers, with thousands of pieces of hardware eliminated across various categories.
