In the Kursk direction, Russian forces carried out 343 artillery shellings and 20 airstrikes, dropping 31 guided bombs. However, Ukrainian defenders held their positions, inflicting heavy losses on the invaders. According to the General Staff, Russian casualties increased by 1,390 soldiers in the past 24 hours, and six enemy tanks were destroyed.
Despite Moscow’s continued efforts to break through Ukrainian lines, its forces are facing mounting losses. Ukraine’s defence strategy, backed by precision strikes and effective countermeasures, continues to frustrate Russian attempts to advance.
