
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have reported a significant rise in Russian losses over the past 24 hours. According to the General Staff, as of March 15, 2025, Russian troops lost another 1180 soldiers, along with two tanks and 15 armoured combat vehicles. These figures add to the already staggering losses suffered by the invading forces since the beginning of the full scale war.
The latest statistics indicate that Ukraine continues to weaken Russia’s military capacity on the battlefield. Since the start of the invasion on 24 February 2022, the total number of Russian personnel losses has reached 892,840. In addition to heavy casualties, the Russian army has lost thousands of pieces of military equipment, including over 10,000 tanks and 21,000 armoured combat vehicles. Ukrainian forces have also neutralised thousands of enemy artillery systems and destroyed over 29,000 drones used for reconnaissance and attacks.
