In the last 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have been engaged in intense combat across several regions, with a particularly high number of clashes in the Pokrovsk sector. A total of 121 combat engagements were reported, with the most severe confrontations occurring in Pokrovsk, Kupyansk, Lyman, and Kramatorsk sectors.
As of 4:00 PM, the General Staff reported that 56 firefights took place in the Pokrovsk sector alone, making it the site of the heaviest action. These occurred in areas such as Baranivka, Yelizavetivka, and Promin, among others. Ukrainian defenders managed to repel 46 of the enemy’s attacks, though 10 clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian lines 13 times, targeting areas including Holubivka, Synkivka, and Stepova Novoselivka. Despite these efforts, Ukrainian defenders are currently engaged in nine firefights, resisting Russian advances.
Meanwhile, the Lyman sector saw 16 combat engagements in locations such as Zelenyi Hai and Makiivka. While many of the engagements have ceased, two are still active. Similarly, in the Kramatorsk sector, 13 firefights have been reported in areas like Chasiv Yar and Stupochky, with three ongoing as of the latest update.
The enemy’s activity has also been notable in the Novopavlivka sector, where they launched five attacks near Novosilka and Velyka Novosilka, in addition to sending a UAV strike on Novopil. In the Toretsk sector, five attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Diliyivka were repelled by Ukrainian forces.
One particularly small but symbolic battle took place in the Prydniprovsky sector, where Ukrainian forces were able to turn back an assault with minimal resistance from the enemy.
In the Kursk region, Russian troops attempted 12 assaults on Ukrainian positions. While 3 are still in progress, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled the majority of these attacks. The Russian forces also launched three airstrikes on Ukrainian settlements in the region, using four drones.
