Activists from the ATESH movement carried out a campaign in Fokino, Primorsky Krai, Russia, distributing leaflets to encourage support for their cause.
On January 9, 2025, members of the Civic Force branch of ATESH conducted propaganda activities in the Russian city of Fokino, located in the Primorsky Krai region. The guerrilla group’s efforts were aimed at urging locals to join their resistance movement against the Russian government. According to the ATESH movement’s statement on Telegram, leaflets were distributed in various public areas of the city, including residential zones, administrative buildings, and commercial establishments. These areas were selected as they are frequented by large numbers of people daily.
The leaflets distributed called for individuals to join the movement and express their dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs. The ATESH movement reported that the action was successful, noting that there were already signs of positive reception. Their statement highlighted that many people were ready to speak out against what they described as “criminal authorities.” The group emphasized that a significant number of people in the region were fed up with the government and no longer wished to remain silent about their grievances.
This action follows a recent operation carried out by the ATESH movement, which included a sabotage mission targeting a Russian military UAV training center. In that operation, an undercover agent provided information on the unit’s location, resulting in the death of two Russian soldiers and the injury of three others.
