Daily Report: Over 740,000 Russian Soldiers Lost Since Invasion

(Kyiv) – Ukraine’s General Staff of the Armed Forces announced the Russian military suffered a significant blow over the past day, losing 1,740 soldiers, five tanks, and 23 artillery systems. This brings Russia’s total personnel losses since the beginning of the war in February 2022 to an estimated 740,400. The figures underscore the ongoing intensity of the conflict and the substantial costs endured by the invading forces.

The report, issued on November 30, provides a detailed breakdown of Russian losses across various categories of equipment and personnel. From November 29 to November 30, the Russian army saw a marked increase in casualties and the destruction of critical equipment at the front lines, reflecting Ukraine’s determined resistance and strategic countermeasures.

The cumulative losses inflicted on Russia since February 24, 2022, are staggering. These include 9,463 tanks, 19,355 armored combat vehicles, and 20,909 artillery systems. Ukraine’s ability to neutralize these assets continues to strain Russian forces, with recent days further emphasizing the relentless toll.

Ukraine also reported the downing or destruction of 19,792 operational-tactical UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) since the conflict began, showcasing its efforts to counter advanced surveillance and strike capabilities. In the past 24 hours alone, an additional 42 UAVs were eliminated, maintaining pressure on Russian attempts to utilize drone technology effectively.
