A series of drone attacks targeted Russia’s Bryansk and Rostov regions overnight into December 11, causing significant disruptions at military and fuel facilities. The Bryansk Oblast witnessed a fire at a production site, reportedly near the Druzhba oil base, while explosions and a blaze were also reported in Taganrog, impacting an aviation plant and damaging infrastructure. Ukrainian officials have not confirmed involvement, though such attacks have increased in frequency this year, aiming to hinder Russia’s war logistics.

(Bryansk and Taganrog) – Overnight drone attacks struck multiple sites in Russia, causing fires and infrastructure damage in Bryansk and Taganrog. Local authorities in Bryansk reported that air defense systems intercepted ten drones in the region. Despite these efforts, a fire erupted at a production facility, with unverified reports suggesting the blaze occurred at the Druzhba oil base in Sven, a site linked to the Transneft oil pipeline.

Eyewitness accounts and media reports indicate that around ten drones were involved in the Bryansk attack, with visuals capturing the fire. Governor Alexander Bogomaz confirmed the interception of unmanned aerial vehicles but did not specify the extent of the damage caused.

In Taganrog, explosions were reported after 3 a.m., initially raising fears of missile strikes. Local authorities later confirmed a drone attack on the Beriev Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex. The attack reportedly destroyed over ten vehicles and damaged a boiler, leaving several homes without heating.

While Ukrainian officials have not claimed responsibility, Ukraine’s use of long-range drones has intensified in recent months, frequently targeting Russian military logistics hubs, fuel depots, and ammunition storage facilities. These strikes have significantly disrupted the Kremlin’s supply chains and military operations.

Meanwhile, Russia continues to launch nightly missile, drone, and bomb attacks on Ukrainian cities, escalating its offensive in recent months. Both sides remain engaged in a war that increasingly involves strikes deep within each other’s territories.
