Russia launched a large-scale overnight drone attack on Ukraine, deploying 39 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully intercepted and destroyed 28 Shahed-type strike drones in the northern and eastern regions. Seven more failed to reach their intended targets, while some still managed to strike areas in Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The Air Force of Ukraine reported that the attack originated from Russian positions in Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Kursk. Ukrainian air defences, including anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups, worked together to repel the assault.
