During a working visit to the Dnipropetrovsk region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened a meeting focused on the critical issue of water supply to cities in the area. The discussion centered on ongoing efforts to restore water access to various communities in the region, which have been disrupted due to continuous enemy attacks.

President Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of these efforts, noting that despite the challenging conditions, significant progress has been made. Water supply is being gradually restored in key cities such as Marhanets, Nikopol, and Pokrov. The President highlighted that over 300 kilometers of water supply pipes are currently being worked on, demonstrating the scale and urgency of the restoration efforts.

One of the key points raised during the meeting was the situation in Kryvyi Rih. The President assured that water reserves in the city are being replenished, and efforts to ensure a stable water supply are ongoing. The work in Kryvyi Rih and other affected areas is a priority, given the importance of water access for the well-being of the local population.

In addition to addressing the current challenges in the Dnipropetrovsk region, President Zelenskyy also discussed future plans for improving water supply in the neighboring Mykolaiv region. He stressed the need for swift action in implementing a project to supply water to Mykolaiv, recognizing the critical need for a reliable water infrastructure in the region.

The meeting underscored the Ukrainian government’s commitment to ensuring that citizens have access to essential services, even in the face of ongoing conflict. The restoration of water supply is seen as a vital step in supporting the resilience and recovery of affected communities.
