Jennifer Lopez, the renowned “On the Floor” singer, 54, has been spotted wearing her wedding ring once again amidst swirling rumors of marital discord with actor Ben Affleck, 51.
Recently photographed shopping for rose bushes in New York City alongside her manager, Benny Medina, Lopez prominently displayed the green sparkler gifted by Affleck. This public appearance came shortly after she had removed the ring temporarily for promotional purposes related to her J.Lo Beauty line earlier in the week.
Sporting wide-legged tan slacks and a blue-and-white striped button-down adorned with floral prints, Lopez shielded her eyes from the summer sun with a wide-brimmed hat and complemented her look with oversized hoop earrings.
The day following Lopez’s outing, Affleck was seen having dinner in Los Angeles with two of his children – Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15 – whom he shares with his former wife, Jennifer Garner, 52. The group, accompanied by two friends, appeared jovial, with Affleck even displaying a rare smile as his eldest daughter affectionately wrapped her arm around him.
Meanwhile, Lopez spent her Fourth of July in New York City, away from Affleck. Speculations about their relationship’s strain began circulating in May, when Lopez attended the Met Gala solo and subsequently appeared alone at the premiere of her latest Netflix film, “Atlas.”
Sources close to the couple have hinted at trouble brewing since March, with reports suggesting Lopez has resigned herself to the fate of their marriage, feeling unable to salvage it further.
Affleck, known for his roles in “The Way Back” and “Gone Girl,” reportedly moved his belongings out of their shared Los Angeles mansion while Lopez was vacationing in Italy last month. The couple, who tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, later hosted a formal celebration at Affleck’s estate in Georgia.
Their relationship, rekindled after an initial engagement in the early 2000s, which ended in 2004, now appears strained despite efforts to reconcile in recent years.
