(Kyiv) – Ukraine has made remarkable progress in its military production, achieving several key milestones in missile and drone technology, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on December 10. These advancements come as the country continues to bolster its defense capabilities in the face of ongoing conflict with Russia.

Speaking at the 2024 Borys Paton National Prize of Ukraine Award Ceremony, President Zelenskyy recognized 91 scientists from 12 research teams for their contributions to the nation’s defense. While some details of their work remain classified, Zelenskyy noted that these innovations are already making a difference on the battlefield.

The President revealed that the Palianytsia missile-drone has officially entered mass production. In addition, the Peklo (Hell) missile-drone completed its first combat deployment, with the first batch delivered to Ukraine’s armed forces just days prior. He also shared promising news about the Ruta missile, which is undergoing successful trials, and the long-range Neptune missile, which he described as a “terrifying reality” for occupying forces.
