TOPEKA (KSNT) – One local business in the capital city spent this Veterans Day giving back.
Topeka Man Cave, located at 4153 SW Twilight Dr. offered free haircuts this Veterans Day to all active and nonactive veterans.
The women-owned business told 27 News this holiday is extra special to them, and they look forward to it every year.
“It’s something that is very near and dear to our hearts. We all have veterans in our families,” stylist Tara Montgomery said.” We wouldn’t be afforded the freedoms that we have today, so we just want to show our form of appreciation.”
Giving back is nothing new for the Topeka Man Cave. The local business also provides free haircuts to kids during back to school season.
