BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Tomorrow is Veterans Day, a time where we honor all military veterans past and present.
Celebrations are taking place all across the state, including here in Bismarck. One of those celebrations will be hosted by Amvets.
Amvets is a national organization — with North Dakota ties — that helps provide veterans with a sense of community post-service.
Amvets’ celebration plans to honor and salute veterans and families, including fallen soldiers.
The club opens at 11 AM, and the salute will start at noon. Amvets will finish off the ceremony with a free roast beef dinner.
The club is open to anyone in the public looking to celebrate this special day.
