Moscow faced its largest-ever drone assault early today, with Russian officials reporting around 30 drones intercepted over the capital. The Russian Defense Ministry later confirmed that 34 drones were neutralized over Moscow Oblast alone, with a total of 70 taken down across Russian territory.
The attack highlights Ukraine’s growing drone production. With Western allies restricting supplied weapons for strikes on Russian territory, Kyiv has developed long-range drones reaching up to 1,000 km. Officials report monthly production of thousands of drones, from reconnaissance to long-range combat models.
