WILLIAMS COUNTY, ND (KXNET) — The Williams County Sheriff’s Office is warning people to be on the look-out for scammers who are impersonating law enforcement officials.
The department says they’ve received reports of scammers telling people they have warrants out for missing jury duty and demand payment over the phone.
Williams County police say they’ll never demand for payment over the phone.
