BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will reopen the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Beaufort County to provide in-person assistance to residents affected by Hurricane Helene.
Representatives from FEMA, the state of South Carolina, and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be available to provide assistance, with no appointment necessary.
The Disaster Recovery Center will be open at the Burton Wells Recreation Center, located at 1 Middleton Recreation Drive, from Sunday, Nov. 10 through Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. The DRC will be open on Veteran’s Day, but all other rooms at the recreation center will remain closed for the holiday.
