BLUFFTON, S.C. (WSAV) — It’s the thirteenth week of Friday Night Blitz! Here’s a rundown of what happened under the Friday night lights.
Bethesda Academy advanced to the second round of the SCISA Class AA playoffs with a 36-0 win over Orangeburg Prep. The night also marked the first time Bethesda played a home game on its new field.
New Hampstead pulled off a road win over Ware County. The Phoenix won a shootout over Ware County, 48-41.
Tattnall County ended its regular season with a heartbreaking loss thanks to a field goal, 13-10. The fourth quarter kick gave Crisp County its third win of the year.
Friday marked the end of the high school football season for the GHSA and SCHSL. The playoffs start for both leagues next week. The playoffs SCISA started this week.
