MINOT, ND (KXNET) — One school was celebrating heroes in the area before Veterans Day.
Kids and teachers from Edison Elementary School in Minot gathered outside of the school to honor some of our veterans.
As the veterans and others drove around the school, they were being cheered and thanked for their service.
U.S. Air Force veteran Paul Engeldinger says events like this reflect how much veterans are appreciated from one generation to the next.
“It’s always a lot of fun to do. It’s good to see the kids come out and have that patriotic spirit and it’s nice to be appreciated,” Engeldinger said. “I always say it’s not required, but it’s always appreciated.”
After the parade, the fourth graders put on a musical program honoring the veterans.
Armed with a Laptop and a cup of coffee, Rothschild is on a mission to conquer the news world, one headline at a time.
