NEW TOWN, ND (KXNET) — The Toys for Tots Foundation will be holding a toy drive next week in New Town in an effort to help bring some Christmas magic to those in need.

Toys for Tots has been around for 76 years, giving out toys to families every year during the holiday season.

They’ll be accepting donations at 4 Bears Casino’s Event Center in New Town at 3 p.m. on November 15. The toys must be new and unwrapped, and cash donations will also be accepted.

“It just gives us the opportunity to give back to the communities and give those families some hope to make sure their family, their children have an outstanding good fun Christmas,” said Shaun Lewellyn, the coordinator for Toys for Tots Foundation.

Toys for Tots is expected to reach more than 3,000 children in Minot and in surrounding communities.
