SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Savannah Police Department (SPD) has arrested one in connection with a Sunday morning shooting that left three people injured.
SPD has arrested Jason Hazel, 27, in connection with a shooting near Johnson Square that left three people with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
At 1:20 a.m. officers responded to Johnson Square following reports of gunfire and discovered Hazel injured at the scene. He was provided with aid and transported to a local hospital.
A short time after two adult males arrived at the same hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. It was determined they were connected to the incident.
Hazel has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and theft by receiving a stolen firearm.
